Christmas, 2004. Jesse's the one in front of the tree and his wife (fiancee, then) Sarah is in the blue sweater. They live in Cloquet, Minnesota with thier yellow lab, Blu.

We go out on Long Lake near Brainerd every January for the Jaycees' Ice Fishing Extravaganza, the largest ice contest in the world. Jesse always ends up on the ice for one reason or another.

My brothers and I went to our childhood home in Montana one summer not long ago. We have a connection to that place that draws us back with regularity. Jesse's on the right. That's Matt in the middle.
